Prize Competitions

Section 1: Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all aspects of Afri Vega’s prize competitions and are divided into sections. By entering, hosting, or otherwise participating in any competition, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

  The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and all parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

  Afri Vega reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notification of material changes will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Determination of what constitutes a material change lies solely with Afri Vega, acting in good faith and with reasonable discretion.

Section 2: Important Notices

A prudent participant in any Afri Vega competition is expected to:

 1. Thoroughly review these Terms and Conditions;

 2. Carefully read all documents and materials relating to the competition and its prize(s);

 3. Seek professional advice where necessary.

These Terms and Conditions assume that all Hosts, Entrants, and Winners act with reasonable care and due diligence. Participation without taking these precautions is at your own risk.

If you enter, host, or otherwise participate in any competition, you do so with the understanding that:

  You accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions;

  These Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between Afri Vega and you as a Host, Entrant, or Winner.

Afri Vega does not offer competitions in jurisdictions where such activities are unlawful or where they require additional registration, licensing, or approval.

Section 3: Jurisdiction and Eligibility

  It is your responsibility to ensure that participation in Afri Vega competitions is lawful in your jurisdiction.

  You may not host, enter, or participate in any competition if doing so violates local, state, or federal laws.

  Afri Vega disclaims any liability for non-compliance with local laws by Hosts, Entrants, or Winners.

Section 4: Rights Reserved by Afri Vega

 1. Modification and Suspension:

  Afri Vega reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any competition without notice in the event of fraud, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond its control.

 2. Discretion:

  Afri Vega retains sole discretion to determine what constitutes fair participation, misuse, or abuse of its platform.

 3. Void Where Prohibited:

  Competitions are void where prohibited by law.

 4. Participant Responsibility:

  Participants, Hosts, and Winners must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and act in good faith.

Section 5: Disclaimer of Liability

Afri Vega is not liable for loss, damages, or injuries arising from participation, except where expressly required by law.

Afri Vega is not responsible for technical malfunctions, errors, or unauthorized entries affecting competition integrity.

Limitation of Liability:
The Promoter is not responsible for any consequences resulting from breaches of account security or unauthorized access caused by an Entrant’s failure to follow the rules.

Section 6: Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Delaware, excluding conflict of law principles.

Disputes arising from these Terms or competitions will be resolved exclusively in Delaware courts.

Section 7: Acceptance of Terms

By hosting, entering, or participating in a competition, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

You are legally eligible to participate under the laws of your jurisdiction.

Section 8: Competition Conduct Conditions

8.1 The Promoter

Afri Vega Limited, incorporated in the United States (Delaware) with registration number 9930826, operates all competitions. Its registered address is 407 Ashton Lane, New Castle, DE 19720, USA.

8.2 Hosting a Competition

Competitions on Afri Vega are hosted by verified users who meet these criteria:

Eligibility to Host:

Hosts must not reside in jurisdictions where hosting competitions is unlawful.

Hosts must be at least 18 years old.

Verified accounts with valid ID, email, and mobile numbers are required.

Host Agreement:
By hosting a competition, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Competition Particulars:
Hosts are responsible for providing accurate details, including:

Unique competition title and summary.

Clear prize description, including delivery or collection details (except for property prizes).

Media (1–8 images) and optional promotional materials.

Ticket price and total quantity.

Proposed end date and time (subject to Afri Vega’s approval).

Charitable donation details, if applicable.

A skill-based competition entry question.

8.3 Afri Vega’s Rights:

Afri Vega may cancel any competition without reason. Cancellations will be communicated, and ticket refunds issued where applicable.

Competitions offering cash, gift cards, or revenue shares as alternatives to prizes are prohibited.

8.4Promoting Competitions

Hosts may promote competitions if activities comply with the following:

All promotions must adhere to advertising and consumer protection laws.

Marketing must not use deceptive or misleading tactics.

Social media promotions must comply with platform policies.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in competition cancellation or account suspension.

 8.5 Charities

1. Donations to Charities or Causes

If a Host pledges to donate part or all of their proceeds from a competition ("Host’s Proceeds") to a specified charity or cause, the details will be outlined in the competition Particulars, including:

The name of the supported charity or cause.

The percentage of the Host’s Proceeds being donated.

2. Payment Process for Donations

Afri Vega facilitates the transfer of the pledged donation directly to the specified charity or cause.

All charitable donations are deducted from the Host’s Proceeds before any remaining funds are transferred to the Host.

3. Transparency

Afri Vega ensures transparency in managing and processing charitable donations.

All relevant details about the donation will be made available to Entrants within the competition Particulars.

Section 9: How to Enter a Competition

9.1. Competition Timeline

Each competition runs from its Opening Date to its Closing Date, as specified in the Particulars.

Entries submitted outside this timeframe will not be accepted.

9.2. Entry Methods
To enter a competition, Entrants must:

Paid Entry Option:

Submit a response to the unique skill- or knowledge-based Competition Entry Question.

Purchase tickets by paying the required fee for the desired number of tickets via:

Afri Vega Credit, or

A valid credit or debit card.

Note: All ticket payments are strictly non-refundable.

Skill or Knowledge Requirement

Entrants must correctly answer the Competition Entry Question to qualify for a valid entry.

Afri Vega ensures compliance with applicable regulations for prize competitions.

 Entry Confirmation

Upon successful payment and submission, Entrants receive confirmation of their entry via email or within their Afri Vega account.

9.3 Postal Entry Requirements

Eligibility and Conditions for Postal Entries

Entrants must be registered users on Afri Vega with both a verified email address and mobile number.

Postal Entries are free and not available for purchase.

Each Postal Entry must be submitted on a postcard, including:

The entrant's USER ID.

The ANSWER to the Competition Entry Question.

 Submission Rules

One entry per postcard. Additional entries on the same postcard will be invalid.

Entries must be received no later than 72 hours before the competition’s end date. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.

 Responsibility of the Entrant

Entrants must ensure:

All required details are clearly and legibly provided.

The postcard is sent to the correct address.

Afri Vega is not liable for:

Postal delays, lost, incomplete, or damaged entries.

Circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.

9.4 Competition Entry Requirements

1. Ticket Allocation

Tickets are issued regardless of whether the correct answer is provided.

However, only tickets with correct answers or valid Postal Entries are entered into the final draw, per Gambling Commission regulations.

2. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a ticket or entering via Postal Entry, all Entrants, including the Winner, agree to these Terms and Conditions.

To enter our competitions by post, send an unenclosed postcard via stamped post stating: Which competition you would like to take part in, the answer to the question specific to that particular competition (If there is a question stated) along with your personal details as follows, One Entry per Postcard;

Full Name.

Date of Birth.

Postal Address.

Email address.

One contact number.

Remember postcards must also contain the correct answer to the question for the competition desired. (If there is a question stated)All details must be either typed or clearly written, we cannot enter you into a competition if the writing on your postcard is not legible. If we receive 1 postcard in the post containing multiple entries this will not comply with the above terms and conditions. If we believe one person is attempting to enter using multiple names and addresses all associated entries will be voided, as per the paid entry route. All postal entries must be received before the close of the competition, any entries that fail to follow the criteria mentioned above will be void as per any Entry received. Entrants MUST have an active account on our website at the time the postal entries are processed, all details on postcards MUST match the name and address on the account to which they are to be added. Please ensure you have read and agree to our terms and conditions before entering by post or online.
